When you think of music capitals of the world, you think of London. From grime to punk, no one does it quite like London. So with us opening our store in the English capital, we also wanted to create something for and by the local community, and what better way than to honour the city’s ignitive music scene?
Introducing Unite Sessions, our new series of in-house produced live performances. The first of their kind, the sessions spotlight artists from all four corners of London.
When it comes to the music scene, London is very hyper-localised and people tend to cluster around postcodes and vaguely-defined areas. Instead, we wanted to celebrate all four boroughs of the capital by getting local iconic and grassroots talents from each corner to deliver an original and impactful performance for us.
With a talent roster including grime icon Ghetts, Enny, BDE X FLEX, and Elheist, this one-of-its-kind freestyle experience showcases the importance and impact of creativity, community, and heritage – in a way only London can. Dropping four Sundays in a row, each film features an opening narrative followed by a fresh exclusive freestyle created especially for the project by each respective talent.
