You and RZ have been friends from young, describe your relationship?

Rz and I have been brothers for 20years+. We’ve been doing music since the early ages of 8/9. It started in our music workshops in primary school. Than in secondary school, we began to release music and we have never looked back since. It’s a blessing to have a bond like we do because we both understand each others musical abilities & influences and able to work seamlessly and challenge each other to enter new creative spaces.

You have a unique sound and it’s a great accomplishment to find that fluidity as an artist. What has been the most challenging part of being a musician in todays era?

I would say the most challenging part is breaking through and being heard. A lot of people can make good music but you have to make good music and deliver it in the right way.

What kind of creative processes, routines or rituals do you have?

I just need some water, some juice and and some melodies!

What holds more weight for you: intention or intuition? And why?

This is a tricky one because bother are very important to me. If I had to pick one it would be intention, I believe in doing things with a purpose.

What role does the artist have in community?

To bring people together, spread good vybes and tell a story that people can feel and relate to.

After a lot of sweat and tears, what does a finished song feel like for you?

A finished song sounds like something you can listen from start to finish and catch a vybe!
